How to make it

  1. 01

Combine the orange slices, pomegranate seeds and cinnamon stick in a large jug.

  2. 02

Pour in the Mix Fruit Sharbat. Stir, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours so the fruit infuses.

  3. 03

Just before serving, top up with the chilled sparkling wine and stir gently.

  4. 04

Pour over ice in tall glasses. Garnish with mint.

The story

Sangria works because the fruit gets sweeter as it sits in the wine, and the wine gets fruitier in return. Most home sangria is too sweet because the fruit is paired with a sugary syrup.

Mix Fruit Sharbat is already balanced — five fruits, lightly sweetened — so the sangria you build with it tastes like a garden, not candy.
